Poco después de mi primer día de circuito reservé para el siguiente; como ya lo conozco y es el que más cerca de casa me queda, repetí en Lydden Hill.

Salí pronto de casa, después de una larga temporada con mucho sol y calor ese día justo estaba nublado, al menos no hizo mucho calor…

Me perdí un poco al llegar buscando la gasolinera y cuando llegué estaba empezando el briefing. Después de firmar desayuné mientras salía el primer grupo, mientras salía el segundo preparé la moto y ya era el momento del tercer grupo, el mío.

Not long alter my first track day i booked the next one; as i already know it and is the closest to home, I went to Lydden Hill again.

I left home early, after a long time being sunny and hot that day was cloudy; at least it wasn't very hot.

I got lost looking for a petrol station and when I arrived the briefing was starting. After signing up I had breakfast while the first group was out, while the second I got the bike ready and it was time for the third group, mine.

Primera sesión, 2 vueltas para calentar y cuando empiezo a pensar en apretar un poco el chico que me adelantó en la curva anterior se cae… No es lo mejor para mi confianza. Realmente el día estuvo bastante completo de accidentes, cerca de uno por sesión; de hecho llegó un momento en el que tuvieron que pararlo todo porque 2 chicos necesitaban ir al hospital (clavícula rota, espero que estén bien) así que no quedaba ninguna ambulancia en el circuito.

First session, 2 laps to warm up and when I’m starting to think about pushing a bit a guy who just overtook me in the previous corner crashes… Not the best thing for my confidence. Actually the day was full of crashes, nearly one per session; in fact at some point they stopped everything because 2 guys need to go to the hospital (broken collarbone, hope they’re well) so there wasn't any ambulance left at the track.

Poco a poco fui cogiendo confianza y yendo más rápido, bastante más rápido que la vez anterior; y también mucho más cansado. El día pasó y al final no llovió, fue muy divertido y un placer conocer otros dueños de SV con los que pase el día. Que ganas tengo de repetir…

Step by step I got confidence and was going faster, much faster than the previous time; also much more tired. The day went by and it didn't rain at the end, it was very funny and a please knowing fellow SV owners whom I spend the day. Can’t wait to do it again…
