Más pruebas

Me perdí el Suzuki day el día que más cerca me quedaba de casa, pues un sábado por la mañana mirando a dónde ir a dar una vuelta se me ocurrió mirar a ver dónde lo hacían ese fin de semana. Chichester, conocía el camino de cuando fui a Goodwood y quería explorar por allí porque pase por carreteras muy entretenidas.

La ruta hasta allí fue divertida, poco tráfico, día soleado, muchas curvas; no podía pedir nada más. Llegué allí sin mayor problema aunque no exploré mucho los alrededores, pensaba hacerlo con la moto de prueba.

I missed the Suzuki Day the day it was closest to home, so a Saturday morning looking where to go for a ride I thought about where they were doing it that weekend. Chichester, I knew the way from when I went to Goodwood and I wanted to explore around there because I rode on a very interesting roads.

The route up to there was good fun, not much traffic, sunny day, twisty roads: couldn’t ask for anything else. I arrived there without problems and although I didn’t explore the nearby, I thought on doing it with the test bike.

La moto fue una GSX-R 1000 y la prueba no fue como estoy acostumbrado. Salimos un grupo de 5 motos, 3 probando (Hayabusa, Burgman 400 y yo) y 2 ‘monitores’; por un lado no tienes la libertad de ir dónde quieras como quieras, pero por el otro hicimos una ruta de unos 50 minutos que si hubiese ido por mi cuenta podría haber acabado en carreteras no asfaltadas como nos pasó con las Triumphs.

Sobre la moto, muy muy incomoda, no desprendía tanto calor como la Daytona o la RSV, en curvas me daba la impresión de que quería girar más la moto que yo, y de potencia, pues que decir, impresionante aunque la parte divertida esta muy arriba, por lo que en primera a altas revoluciones ya casi te saltarías todos los limites de velocidad.

We were a group of 5 bikes, 3 testing (Hayabusa, Burgman 400 and I) and 2 ‘monitors’; on one hand you don’t have the freedom to go wherever you want and however you want, but on the other we did a route of about 50 minutes that if I went on my own I could have ended up on non asphalted roads as it happened with the Triumphs.

About the bike, really really uncomfortable, it wasn’t as hot as the Daytona or the RSV, on corners it gave me the impression that it wanted to turn more than me, and about power, what can I say, brilliant but the fun bit is at high revs, so on first gear at high revs you could be over all speed limits.
