Últimamente con el ‘buen tiempo’ estoy saliendo más con la bici que con la moto. De vez en cuando me intereso por motos que podrían sustituir la SV (o convivir con ella), después de un fracaso con la Versys debido a la lluvia esta vez tocó la Triumph Speed Triple.
El día estaba despejado así que me he puesto el cuero y he salido al concesionario; una vez en la carretera el cielo se ha ido nublando mientras pensaba ‘vale, mientras no llueva no importa’… 5 minutos después estaba lloviendo.
Lately with the good weather I’ve been out more with the bicycle than the motorbike. From time to time I look for motorbikes that could replace the SV (or have both), after a failure with the Versys because of heavy rain this was the time of the Triumph Speed Triple.
The sky was clear so I put my leathers on and left to the dealer; once on the road it became cloudy while I was thinking ‘ok, as long as it doesn’t rain it’ll be fine’… 5 minutes later it was raining.
Llegué al concesionario y aunque seguía lloviendo podía ver el cielo azul por mi retrovisor. Después del papeleo reglamentario me dispuse a salir, a la izquierda estaba nublado y a la derecha estaba esclarecido, fácil elección.
Estuve dando vueltecitas por la zona buscando el punto más alto de la zona; encontré una especie de parque pero tengo que volver e investigar más.
I arrived to the dealer and even thought it was still raining i Could see the blue sky on my mirror. After the paperwork I was ready to go out, on the left was cloudy and on the right was clear, easy choice.
I was riding around looking for the highest point of the area; found some kind of park and have to go back there and check it out.
Después de una hora y empezar a conocer la zona era hora de regresar.
Que puedo decir de la moto… Que me encantó, la posición de los pies no me resulto la mejor pero por lo demás estupenda. Imagino que al ser naked para viajar no será adecuada, pero para salir los domingos o ir al curro parece muy divertida, el motor no hacía más que pedirme guerra. Creo que la añado a la lista de motos que me gustaría tener, y que cada día es más larga.
After an hour and starting to know the area it was time to go back.
What Could i say about the motorbike… I loved it, the foot position wasn’t the best, but everything else was great. I guess as it is naked it won’t be the best for travelling, but for going out Sundays or commuting it looks like it is quite funny, all the engine did was asking for more. I think I’ll add it to the list of motorbikes I’d like to have, and everyday it becomes longer.
